Sewing Machine Lamp

My Sewing machine came with a 15W incandescent lamp shoved way up inside a cowling... with a 1" hole at the bottom to let out about 10% of the light. Great little heater, TERRIBLE light. Time for an LED. I used a 350mA Xitanium driver and a single Cree Q4 led mounted to a star. Hard to get a good angle to take this picture, but this shows almost everything you need to know. The white Xitanium driver is stuck to the metal plate where the candelabra bulb base used to be. I hung the star down at the bottom and angled it to point directly at the needle. It now sits directly IN the hole at the bottom of the cowl. Finally, the light gets out, and there's a hell of a lot more of it!
