The McLux project was great fun, and helped form and grow some lasting friendships. We ended up with an awesome, unique light that is still of great value today. Some of the unique items (bezel-down clip, accessory ports, guarded switch, replaceable optics) are just now making their debuts in production lights. There are still some tasks that the McLux does better than any other light I have.
